Trinity Christian United Church of Christ, the only church in Skippack village, welcomes you.  Whatever your background or situation, wherever you are in your spiritual journey, you are welcome in our fellowship.  (Click here for a map if you don't know where we are located.)

 

We are affiliated with the United Church of Christ, a denomination that unites churches of the Reformed, Lutheran, and Christian traditions.  Believing that Christ is our unity, we do not allow our various traditions to divide us. 

What's new at Trinity? 

We are now using our summer hours for worship, coming together at 9:30 A.M. through Labor Day Sunday.  The Sunday School is on vacation until Rally Day, which is on the second Sunday in September.

Upcoming are two Praise and Worship services, to be held in the evening on August 1 and August 29 starting at 7:00 p.m.  Come out and enjoy a singing of praise hymns followed by a dish of home-made ice cream.

September 19, immediately after church:  We will be holding a special Congregational Meeting to discuss renovations and related costs for the parsonage.  It is crucial that as many members as possible attend this meeting.

Our search process is under way, and the committee has prepared a description of our church to share with potential candidates.  They are now reviewing profiles of prosepective pastors, and setting up phone and live interviews as appropriate.

--an active, energetic Sunday school meets every Sunday at 9:00 a.m.

joyful worship every Sunday at 10:15 A.M. (September - May)

-- Bible study following lunch every Tuesday at Noon. ( throughout the year)

--A Children's Sermon at each service.

Our mission at Trinity Christian U.C.C. is to

Trinity Christian Church was organized in 1863 by Abram Hunsicker, a Mennonite bishop who wanted to form a non-sectarian church in Skippack village. In 1892 the congregation joined the Reformed Church, which through a series of mergers has become the United Church of Christ.

We are both a community church and a denominational church. As a community church we seek to be a fellowship for Christians of all backgrounds, united by a common desire to serve Jesus Christ. As a denominational church we are connected to, and accountable to, a family of Christians beyond our community.
